Privacy Policy
HerdBound collects information that clients choose to provide so we can organize and coordinate routine horse care. This may include names, contact details, horse and barn information, provider details, care schedules, known costs, communication preferences, and optional hay information.
How information is used
We use client information to set up and maintain the requested HerdBound service, prepare and send service communications, coordinate approved scheduling, maintain care and inventory records, and respond to client questions. We do not sell personal information.
Text messaging and mobile information
When a client affirmatively opts in to service-related text messages, HerdBound may send appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling updates, horse-care reminders, hay follow-ups, and other communications directly related to the requested service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent records, is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It may be provided to service providers only as necessary to operate the messaging service and fulfill the client’s request.
Clients may reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not prevent a client from using other agreed communication methods.
Service providers and retention
HerdBound uses service providers, including form, database, hosting, and communications platforms, to operate the service. Information is retained only as reasonably needed for service delivery, recordkeeping, security, and legal obligations.
Choices and updates
Clients may ask HerdBound to correct their information, change communication preferences, or stop using their information for future service coordination. Requests can be made through the same contact method used for onboarding or service communication.
